Tips
The back side surface of the Roll-Line "Click-Action" Nut features machined divots that securely lock into the lower suspension (cushion) "Click-Action" Cups or "Click Caps." The "Click Nut" is responsible for adjusting the desired tension on the suspensions (cushions). When viewed from the bottom of the skate frame, turning the nut left loosens the tension, while turning it right tightens the tension. This adjustment is made using the 17mm end of the tube wrench.
When initially setting up skate tension adjustments, it is advisable to loosen all "Click Nuts" completely for all four (4) trucks. This allows you to count the "clicks" and bring all four (4) trucks up to the same tension. Additionally, it is recommended to set the back trucks (on each foot) one (1) "click" looser than the front trucks to facilitate easier steering when skating backward.
If the "Click Nut" is loosened to the extent that it contacts and pushes against the adjustment King Pin Locking Screw (the Keeper Screw), and more action (flexibility) is desired in the suspensions (cushions), it may indicate that a softer suspension is needed.
