Details
Important note: Ensuring the tightness of the King Pin Locking Screw is paramount for skater safety. The KEEPER Screw, aptly named, prevents the Adjustment Nut from being inadvertently backed off to the extent that the skate might come apart during use. When adjusting the King Pin Action Adjustment Nut or Click Nuts for a more flexible Action, it's essential to avoid loosening them to the point of contact with the Keeper Screw. This signifies that the Action has been loosened to its maximum extent.
This adjustment is influenced by the type of Suspensions (Cushions) in use. If more Action is desired, opting for a more flexible Suspension (Cushion) is necessary. This allows for the skate adjustment to operate within the normal range, excluding the practice of backing out the KEEPER Screw to achieve a more flexible action.
